    New Boat

New to the Tige and new to inboards all together. I just purchased a 21i and will pick it up friday

I have always had outboards (s.fla) since my first boat at 8. Is there anything I should be worried / cautious about? Outside of the obvious not trim and tilt etc etc. And it will be run in salt water most of the time.

Thank in advance and I will put some pictures shortly.

Welcome to the site! Congrats on your new boat! The first thing that comes to mind is backing it off of the trailer, not quite the same as an I/O because you basically have no steering in reverse. The boat rear turns to the right in reverse so be ready for it.

When approaching a dock come in at about a 30* angle. When your about 5' to 6' away on your starboard side put it in reverse and use the throttle to pull the boat to the dock.It will back and pull to the right. Also the bow in a wakeboard boat is lower to the water than a i/o so if you let off the throttle quickly in rough water or on rollers you will probably dunk the bow.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

Thanks for all the help, I have always had open fisherman with twins so rough water has never been a issue. I really am going to have to watch out i suppose.

I am planning on keeping it on my davits during the weekend, I have a spreader bar for the back and a having a bridle made to hold the front. Will all the hardware hold ok?
