Memorial Weekend Plans?

Boat's all fixed! Pulled out and cleaned for the weekend.

What is everyone doing for Memorial Weekend? We're heading off to Lake Chelan, WA. The water is like glacier temp there, so I better bring my wetsuit.

I was planning on joining the Forte get-together in Lakeland, their 2nd annual Tige fruitcake shin-dig. There will be awards for best (loudest) stereo, best power turn, best catch of the day (fish), and of course who's having the most fun. I'm hoping to take 1st place in all categories.

Im taking my fruitcakes and going to the lake. We are pulling out of the slip with the houseboat on thursday afternoon, and wont be back in until sunday late or early monday morning... Ski, surf, barefoot, wakeboard, boat ride.. all weeeeeekend long. I even got a ski vest for my fruitcake. Dont want it to sink, ya know!

I think the safest place for my boat this weekend is going to be in storage! And I will be sitting on a tube floating down the salt river with a cold beer in my hand and my newly built Cooler Stereo!(and hopefully copious numbers of scantily clad college girls)

Spending the weekend on Messalonskee Lake with friends and family...some wakeboarding, but probabaly surfing more due to boat traffic. If the air temp crosses 80 I may even go in without the wetsuit.

Get out early and back to the house for a late breakfast, coffee and a hot tub soak. Repeat Sunday & Monday.

Going to what I call my own private lake all weekend. Since it is a public lake it probably wont be too private

Lake mead, for a couple of days, water was 77 last Sunday, should be about 80 by this weekend, lake mead has been a ghost town this year in the upper basin, shouldn't be bad for memorial.
