Boat starting & messages

Ok I have 2 questions:

1) when I launch my boat it starts the first crank (so far), but occasionally I will kill it later and hen I go to restart it, it won't start. All the electronics come on but no engine! After about 4-5 turns o the key it will crank up. Any ideas?

2) when I kill the boat to just listen to music, I turn the key backwards and I get a warning message of "can data be lost" and here recently "battery voltage low" ... I have both of my batteries on. What do these warnings mean?

I had this same issue with my last boat and what I found it to be was a bad battery terminal on my cranking battery. Look at your terminals on the cracking battery and make sure they are nice and tight as well as clean from acid. My guess is you may just have a weak battery and or poor terminal connection.
