Took the boat out the other day and taps seemed to work ok other than being backwards. So today was going to switch the wiring and wanted to check it before I did anything and now gauge is not working and when checking the ram it only pulls in and will not extend out? I unhooked the mount to the taps plate to play around with it and I can unscrew the ram by hand that mounts to the plate and it extends but will not work under its own power. Anybody know why? Its an electric lenco unit.

Can you hear your pump kicking on each direction? If the pumps only coming on one direction its a relay issue. The pumps are typically located, depending on boat, either under the helm, or under the glove box. It will have a carpet covered cover over it. -
Hmm dont know anything on those. Just finished fixing 2 hydraulic versions one was bad relay the other was a rewire and relays.Comment

I honestly don't know the first thing about them either, other than they are an electric screw drive type actuator. Even that could be wrong. Tige only used them for one year before going back to the Bennett system.Originally posted by Ruger761 View Post
