I think there is a lot to that Wickedcummins... never really understood why warranties don't transfer with the product, I know it's supposed to be a benefit to the original owner for purchasing the product new through the official channels. But if you warranty your product for a certain duration, who cares who owns it or how they came across it. It's your product and you should take care of it. If it is a verifiable product flaw or failure it should be fixed. If it's an abuse or misuse issue then don't fix it. Always just seems like a weaselly way out of taking responsibility.

I agree 800% if your proud of your product you would gladly warranty it till said date and they would be amazed how much more good talk you get about your product and be amazed how much more business that draws you.. I mean used boat owners talk to friends and so many people about there boat.. Just what you want is a guy with your used boat that is under warranty but second or third owner telling his friend whos in the market how much he spent fixing little things.. That guys probably gonna look into other boats just because what he has herd.. I know I would.. If I would have bought something else if this thread and all these issues where posted up when i was in the market for my new 70k+ purshace I just made...My wife just the other day said maybe we should have bought the new malibu..Even tho maybe they have just as many issues our money probably would have went to one of them! She even said they have much nicer windows lol but she didnt like how shallow they felt inside!

Read Above...I didnt Blast the Dealer...merely stated what was true and what was in their control and out of their control.

What if I did crowns on 30 people and charged a preium because I use the finest lab in the country with the best materials and they all had the same problem? Say an ill fitting margin in the same place?.....I think Id deserve to get blasted for not checking what they send me, and for putting my stamp of approval on it by putting it in and sending the patient out the door.

I have responsibility to make sure it fits before it was bonded in place, and Id also have the responsibility to hammer my lab for poor QC.

As a matter of fact, more times then I like, my lab sends me work that is not to my satisfaction...and you know what I do??? I DONT let it out my door! I suck it up and tell the patient, you know what, you paid a premium for my product, and it doesnt meet my standards. Im sorry, but Im going to have them make another.

Guess what? ALL of my patients are a bit discouraged by the delay, but ALWAYS appreciate my attention to detail and the fact that I will not let them out with substandard (my standards) work.

Then I proceed to call my lab and read them the riot act, about the carelessness. They then ream out the QC dept of the crown lab techs, who in turn ream out the lab techs.

SO I would expect as stated above, that Tige will fix the issue and give me a reason why it doesnt meet my expectations......and what can be done.

I'm not gonna join in one side or the other but your comment above begs the question:

"Why did you accept the boat and take it home to begin with?"

I definitely understand both sides of this 5 page argument, I'm just asking.
          Waiting for another good one!

            Not a fair question IMO.

Oh, it's definitely a fair question. I've refused delivery of new cars because of small issues, you can certainly refuse delivery of a boat.

Why? Because I drove a long way to get it....and I trust the dealer will get it rectified....heck if they tell me to blow smoke, Ill go and buy a bunch of glass and try to fix it myself.

It also begs the question of why did I have to sign all the papers before being offered to see the boat?

Im suprised that Im getting hammered here for showing what is going on and trying to get answers.....you guys seem to miss the fact that the video was intended for Tigeowners peeps to see, and to get help in seeing what was going on....now if i was making stuff up to make someone look bad, I can see....but jeez, I paid alot more than a single crown costs for this boat.......

I guess Im a trusting person...maybe its my fault the boat has an issue?

I'm not hammering you. I have to drive a little over an hour to pick up my new boat tomorrow. I'll be upset and extremely bummed if it's not to my liking, but I'm willing to come home empty handed if that's the case.

I said I see and understand both sides of this argument. Probably your side more so, but with that said... Oh FFS, nevermind.

BJA yes it is at an angle but there has never been an issue, also my bow is
Shorter than yours so realize my angle may not be as steep.

Been out of the loop Five, but what will you be towing to Wimpy's & New Hope now? You sold your boat quickly!

I sold my 21V amazingly fast!

I was trying to get into an RZ2 for a long time, but I settled my decision on the '12 Axis A22 with the 450HP LS3.

                          (sorry for the hijack, dentist)

There have been a few owners in the past couple of years who have unfairly blasted Tige and the brand with their first post on the site. It's hard to convey in text exactly what or how you are feeling or trying to get accross so some may have taken your posts in that manner. I did not see the videos because they were removed before I got a chance to watch them.

I think your gripes have been justified, as have most owners. It's too bad your dealer has let you down with the delivery process. I understand they are new to the brand but that does not excuse their actions, business should deliver what they promise. I drove 7 hours to pick up my boat and we signed all the papers AFTER the dealer took me out on the lake to show me how to operate all the systems and make sure it was all functioning properly. I hope you get your problems sorted out and have a great summer on your boat. After my 25 hr service and initial warranty claims have been cleaned up I've had 85+ trouble free hours on the boat and my kids have enjoyed every one of them.

When you purchase a used car you can purchase an extended warranty policy, when you purchase a used boat you can do the same, thats still an option now at your dealer , we have done that on used purchases and only has to be inspected.

This post 133...I've lurked here since 2008 and one of the reasons I went bu in 2008 was from stuff I saw here. One of the reasons I'm back is because the local by dealer is an arrogant sob. I think this boat is the cats ***..
But my excitement was brought down with my trampoline like floor.

I got the 3 yr extended warranty for piece of mind and resale.
