Pole solution is put it in a cup holder, that's what I do andd have no issues...

The floor flexes a bit in the up position thanks to the torque you put on it by moving that giant floorboard but if it flexes while you're walking on it that's a different story and is an issue. Ours may rattle and move but hey that's the price I pay for not having to cut a giant hole in the deck when my mastercraft gets recalled... Also it does depress slightly when stepped on but it certainly does not flex, it's the entire hatch sinking down into its groove. It's a weird feeling at first until you realize how nice it is when you service the boat on your own.

If yours truly is flexing then it needs to be adressed

You should write a book on how to handle warranty issues.I was really impressed with the Moomba comparison on you tube and i'm sure Tige and your dealer will be too.I'm sure your happy when a customer comes in and tells you you don't know what your doing.Walk a mile in someone elses shoes before you get camera happy.Think if someone put out a video of your work that for whatever reason failed. Then they posted it all over the internet for everyone to see.How happy would you be to see them and fix it? Would you want to deal with them again? Remember they didn't come to you first, the bad mouthed you to the world first.Think about it?
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

        Robert...as a business owner..I appreciate your view...for sure.

But...I picked up the boat and it was filthy, no gas in it, trailer was muddy, mirror isnt installed, and they said huh, I think all the boats do that......

What else in this economy could I spend 85k on??

BTW, I told them I was doing the videos.....and to be honest...the dealership has a bunch of really nice guys...so even tho they dropped the ball on the delivery...Im not hacked about what they didnt do so much as what Tige did in their build and QC.

I understand your frustration and your expections of a quality built boat for the money you spent on your new RZ2. I would however suggest you take the boat back to your dealer and ask them to fix it before anymore video's. I think your dealer really dropped the ball on this one and should do everything in their power to fix all issues espically a full tank of gas and boat detail. I'm very lucky to have a great Tige dealer (Forte's) who would never let this kind of thing happen because they would have seen and heard this before picking up the boat. Good luck and I hope to hear that your dealer does the right thing! Cheers

I guess the videos are the best way to demonstrate the flex....it seems like its a problem that isnt easy to explain with words.

I can delete them as it seems people find them offensive.....

I don't find them offensive at all. I think they prove your point very accurately. Video tells the truth, words are misconstrued, subjective, partial, and limited. I couldn't imagine a world without video. So please, post more videos because you have more credibility. $85K is equivalent to a Mercedes E63 AMG. Would I accept an E63 with a squeaky anything? Heck no! Some of these issues are NOT dealer issues, these are serious manufacturing quality issues. The only way for Tige to produce better products is to hear from their clients (if they so choose). You are doing just that. Your messages says unacceptable, your thread is GOOD, and I approve.

@ Robert, I think your asking for political correctness, or maybe corporate politeness but I feel that correctness and politeness is the responsibility of the government / manufacturer. Yes?

Social networking like Tigeowners.com serves as a greater good for everyone even if it's not what we want to hear (or see).

I strongly believe in tothedoc01's methodology.

I agree that the video is not offensive, besides that Moomba comment at the end, Was that really necessary? and you can definitely see a problem with that deck. And that I would expect the Dealer with Tige to rectify the issue. But the first post in this thread says, Just got it home! and the video was posted around 1pm or so, It did not mention that the dealer and Tige were notified and told the OP to deal with it or something to that sort. What did the Dealer say when you notified them of the issue? If you were not satisfied with their response what did Tige say when you called them? I would be disappointed also but I would give my dealer at least a few hours to try and work out a solution to the issue before I started posting up You Tube video. I just feel that is very poor form to go and rip somebody or some company on the internet without giving them a reasonable timeframe to respond.

I think its great he did a video and shared.. Now Tige will either address a issue or let it go and do nothing. The video will give people options on to look into other boats that might not have this issue and be stuck with the boat and out there money!

Its like the swim platforms they know they effect the wave but the new Rz2s still come with a platform that jacks with the wave. See what people want and adapt it. I mean its not hard to change the platform to keep it from effecting the wave. They could easly change the platform and even offer a upgrade platform for SURF option and then offer em for sale for the people with older models!

I was told, they are all like that....and they would call Tige and check it out.

I did tell them that I was posting videos to show what was going on to see if anyone had any ideas.

BTW, this is their first season with Tige...Again, I like the dealership...and I am hopeful they can help...but Im afraid Tige is going to say..."hmmm we havent ever seen that...thats just how it is." The thing is...I didnt notice that in the showroom floor boat nor on any other at the boat show. I noticed this as soon as I got in the boat...its that obvious.

I would call and ask for Harvey at Tige Corporate and get him involved. I am sure he will work to rectify this issue and any other that may come up, I hope it all works out and you get to enjoy your Tige and the good memories that will come with it for many years.

Good Luck man and don't forget to post up that first video of you surfing or boarding also

if I'm not mistaken, the original video posted was not posted to YouTube publicly, meaning you had to have the link to access. Am I correct?

Do you put the pole extended at an angle? My snap is much closer to the windshield side of the cooler than the bow.

That's a personal opinion of yours, not a fact. I have a newer platform and feel that the wave is just fine. Ragboy did nothing to the platform on his RZ2 and used the boat for competitions.

Back to the thread...ALWAYS give your dealer a chance, sometimes they can't fix something in an hour or even a day. What have they said they will do to fix the issue and why didn't they clean your boat? IMO, when you don't give the dealer/mfr a legitimate chance to fix the issue and just post up videos, you are only souring any relationship that you had with them. I kind of agree with Robert, you would want your own customers to work things out with you before telling the world.
