    Boat Care

What is the best products to use on my 2011 RZR for cleaning the gelcoat and the interior vinyl? I heard Babe's is good but I thought I would get the opinions from my other Tige owners!

Most folks use babe's, boat bling or 303 protectant. I personally just switched from babe's to boat bling and 303.

Chad - you really like to frustrate yourself by getting multiple opinions on a variety of things, don't you?

Some like Babe's products, others love Boat Bling products, and Hula Boat Care has been getting good reviews recently.

      Good luck

I sure do ... and everyone is probably telling me to quit asking stupid questions ... but being a first time boat owner ... I want the best of the best!

Used Babe's for a year, and then switched to Boat Bling, and highly doubt I will switch to anything else.

Where can you buy boat bling? Any big chains carry it?

No worries - the questions aren't stupid. Just expect a variety of answers.

FWIW, I used to use Babe's Boat Bright on the gelcoat, but switched to Boat Bling Hot Sauce last year and like it a little more. For the vinyl, I have used Exquisite and was happy, but will try the Boat Bling this year.

In TX I would go with Boat Bling Hot Sauce for the gelcoat. Hula is a new company that has a thread on this website and has good reviews so far. I use a Babes boat bright diluted to 50% strength with distilled water and it works well for me, I don't have as many sun induced water spots up here in WA like I did when I lived in Del Rio.

There is also some debate about what type of marine wax to use on the boat. Some swear by marine 100% carnuba, some say 100% carnuba is a source of gelcoat yellowing. I'm going to use up my bottle of 100% carnuba and go with a synthetic type of wax such as the Meguiars NXT or something like that.

Boat bling was offering a group buy on here recently. Might want to look around for that thread.

I just tried out some products from Hula Boat care, and really like it a lot! The owner is super cool, and the products work extremely well.

I like Babe's for the fact that I can buy in gallon quantities and like the review say any of products would work fine. Provided you use it consistently not sure that one is better than the other. As for the interior - 303 is the bomb for the ultimate protection. For stains there are many different products, but for protection use the 303 for the interior.

use Vinger and water on the outside.. WORKS BOMB.... I would like to switch to the hula if the price makes sense because it works as well if not better due to leaving a protective layer

I own a boat detailing company (Boat Beautiful) in Austin and Houston, Texas. I have tried many different products over the years and have come to the conclusion that there are many good products but few GREAT products. At the end of the day there's a couple questions you have to ask yourself.

                              1) What works the best
                              2) What is the best for my boat (many products have a "masking" affect but don't solve the real issue)
                              3) How hard do I have to work to use this product
                              4) What is the most affordable

When I was introduced to Hula Boat Care last year I was hesitant. Unsure of these answers to all these questions John provided me with some samples. After trying Hula Boat Care we use NOTHING but Hula Boat Care.
