Where is the cheapest/best place to buy a small box anchor? Does any big store chains carry one? Is there more than one brand out there that carries a box anchor?

I think only the company "Slide Anchor" makes the box anchor. And that is the only anchor they make -- which makes one wonder why they made their company name so confusing.

Active Watersports carries them - they are in the northwest, but another place to check prices. They also carry the slide anchor as well.

box anchor doesn't require chain, rope is all

I didnt like the box anchor and I had the big one.. I love my digger anchor tho works like A charm every time and has never let go!

Okay people you are killing me ... I don't want 3 options in anchors ... Ive heard great things about the box anchor but now there are the occasional dislikes of the box anchors ... I am hesitant to spend $150 on an anchor and not like it ...

Just wait until you ask which motor oil is the best to use in your engine, that's always a fun topic for differing opinions

IMO, you will never find something that absolutely everyone likes. But, if most people swear by one particular product, at least your odds are high that it will work well most of the time.
