New R20, engine lagging and stalling.

So today was my actual first boating day with my new Tige R20. I had it out once, but only for a quick spin. After about 10 minutes today my boat was lagging, stalling and dropping RPMs. It came and went, finally at the end of the day I couldn't even get it to great 10mph. It feels like it's loosing fuel, or some electric glitch with the throttle, I have no clue. Just wanted to post it incase someone could help. My Tige dealer is coming to look at in on Tuesday, but I wanted to know if anyone could give some insight before then. Here is a link to the vid.

Annnnnnd fuel filter, in line. Mine was full of old glass and dust from the factory, died at 50 hours, not as bad as yours sounds like but it would loose revs and start to stall after 3.5k rpm changed the filter and was running better than ever. Start there

Fuel filter would be my guess as well, at least a good place to start.

I just changed my fuel filter today and now the boat dies after 10 seconds on the fake a lake. Am i doing something wrong? can you install it wrong?

Not sure abut your filter but I've installed automotive filters which were flow specific. It usually stated it on the filter itself.

When I took my boat out a few weeks ago for the first time it wasn't doing this. My fuel gauge wasn't working the first time when I went out so I dropped it back off at the dealership to get that fixed. Now my gas gauge works but it's having this problem. Do you think while fixing the gas gauge they maybe messed something up?

Maybe a bad ground or loose connection on the fuel pump or stopped up fuel filter.I'm sure the dealer will figure it out.

So they changed all my fuel pumps and my fuel filter and now the boat runs great. Don't know how those could have gone bad when the boat is brand new. I'm glad that Lynnwood Motoplex took care of it so quick, and they even came to my dock to do it. Great guys!
