    Tarpon Season is here!!!!!

So May 1st is officially when Tarpon run up the gulf of Mexico, so me and Mrs Nobody are going to give it go.

First up is that dumb anchor light, had to buy a new one so Im giving the new Attwoods 5580 LED a try. Maybe it will hold up better when putting the tent boat cover on.

Sounder is installed and connected to the Garmin 400 series chart plotter. Works good.

Two fishing rod holders are installed with tie backs, and two more to go on port side. (not a fun job)

Will report back if the Tarpon are biting.

I don't think I've ever seen a Tige with fishing rod holders before!

Added three more locker lights too (Dura LED) and 5 new Bigboy AMG Intimidator Bemouth batteries plus two new deep cycle batteries for the engine. This gives us 7,500 Amp hours of juice to keep the stereo on and frolic about during night fishing.

The Amp locker is starting to get a little stuffy and gets too warm at times so now we need to add more cooling fans. (thanks Tim). We have one more Hertz HP4 900 watt Class AB amp to install but don't know where to put it. Most likely it will have to go on the starboard side under the helm maybe. You have got to love digital music, so we installed our USB on the light panel for easy access. FYI, we found that NOT mounting the amps directly to the carpet had considerable cooling and anti moisture advantages.

Fishing rod holders on a wakeboat - that's like tits on a bull

I would say you have won the most gadgets on a boat award!

You've never caught a Tarpon then. The fish don't care what kind or brand of boat you have, they just don't won't to come aboard.
