    perfect pass flickering

quick question - about every 10th time i'm on the boat, my perfect pass will turn off and on each second while the boat is in neutral (the battery gauge will flicker as well). the beeping each time it turns on is insanely annoying. once i go above about 2k rpms, it'll stop and just stay on. both of my batteries are new, so is this a fuse issue? why is my battery gauge flickering? again, this only happens every once in a while.

    thanks!

also, here's a vid i made the other day of Rob Mapp riding behind my boat with the wake semi-dialed in, i still need to add about 1500lbs i think. sorry the videography is so shaky.

It sounds like you are having a low voltage issue going to the perfect pass. If is not a problem with the battery or charging system, then check for a bad power or ground wire. Use a digital volt meter to determine the voltage going to the purple wire with the fuse holder going to the perfect pass. Unplug the servo motor to see if it is drawing down your voltage. Anything more that a half volt drop or below 11 volts will be an issue. PP uses a computer chip, they are voltage sensitive. I had a similar issue and used jumper wires to bypass different power connections until I found a faulty wire between the main breaker panel and the safety lanyard switch (which provided power to my ignition switch, gauges and PP). Good luck, be patient and methodical with electrical issues.

I would reccomend calling perfect pass' tech support. Mine was doing something very similar(if i remember correctly it's been 3 years) and it ended up being a faulty power wire to the perfect pass module. The tech support guys were very helpful and they walked me through the trouble shooting step by step until we found the problem.
