    21v Riders Edition Surf Wake

    Hey guys,

So I had my 21v out for the first time surfing last week and had a damn blast. I was wondering if anyone on here can give me some suggestions on the wave, and what I could do to make it better. I was thinking a couple hundred pounds in the bow? This is my first inboard so I have a lot to learn about weighting the boat.

Here is a link to a video we took - it was me my 3rd time surfing so bear with my skills (or lack of) . We were running around 700lbs of ballast in the rear locker and the TAPS was set to 3. Let me know what you guys think!

1100# bag in the locker. can't fill it up to 1100 but it will fill every nook and kraney. Probably close to 1000 in it.
Put a 400# sac in the hallway and fill it. If you don't fill the one in the hallway, the wave will be shorter and you won't get a good long wave.

Here's my 21V with that 400# sac in the hallway only filled half way and the 1100 in the locker:

Here's another picture I added another 400# sac on the gunwale seat - I think that was a bit much:

    Waiting for another good one!

Wow that wave looks sick! I think I will need to get a bow sack for the front after seeing that.

So typically how fast are you going? Since the speedo on the boat isn't the most accurate at lower speeds, we have been looking at the RPM gauge. We are crusing around 2,400 currently...

Yea, I'm usually around 2800-3000. But that's not very fast with that weight. Around 11-12mph
        Waiting for another good one!
