I stopped and grabbed a sheet of 3/4" marine grade plywood last night and started on the box. It's all glued and screwed and then I dynaglassed all of the exterior seams and screws. I have to cut out the hole for the sub, router out the ports, put the top on and then I'll coat it in resin. It's pretty crazy how long the ports are.

I did a rough fitting of the enclosure in the boat this past weekend. The floor towards the back of the enclosure starts to slope a little which I didn't account for and the Medallion fuse box on the left is touching the enclosure so I'll need to try and free up a little more space somehow to keep it from rattling against the enclosure.
I may have to plunge out a section of the top of the enclosure and fiberglass it on the inside for it to clear as I have that fuse box about as high up as it can go. I have some rubber feet I want to install under the enclosure too. I was able to find some matching marine carpet that I'll wrap the enclosure with prior to building a trim panel.
The enclosure looks a little rough now after painting it black and coating it with resin but it will look great once carpeted and is super solid.

Thanks guys! I'm hoping to get enough clearance to level the enclosure out some as the right side sits a little higher than the right due to the shape of the floor. If not, I'll correct it with the cover panel so that it at least looks level!
I'm hoping to have it playing this week. Tim and my buddy Shawn who's the Wet Sounds Sales Manager promised me the first XXX V2 that they had air freighted in to take pictures of before the regular stock arrives. They had the photo shoot of it yesterday so hopefully they got what they need and I can go pick this beast up!

Here's the enclosure in place and carpeted.
I'm going by Wet Sounds in the morning to pick up the XXX V2. I'll ask about the new 8" for you Nobody. I can't wait to hear the sub Saturday morning!
