    Tige touch question

I had the 2010 RZ2 with stock bow ballast ( upgraded the rear last year) Stock bow ballast is 1 U shaped bag 400 lbs. I wanted to put 2 400lb bags in 1 on each side. Boat is equipped with fill and drain for both sides. However there was only 1 vent so I put a T on the exhisting vent line to give me 2. I swap the Tige touch from stock to RZ2 with pro ballast and the display switches from 1 U shaped bag to 2 and gives me the option to fill and empty both sides individually. All good so far and theoretically it should work fine.

Time for the water test. I pushed the Port side on the Tige touch to fill and the Starboard side begun filling?! I pushed the Starboard side to fill and the Port side filled?! Draining went the same way except one drain pump didn't work at all, and that was the pump that had been inactive since I bought the boat.

I know there are several possible issues and solutions here, but I am not sure this is one I can tackle without bringing into the dealer. Thought I would try here first.

    Thank you

Sounds like the pumps are connected to the incorrect switched outputs on the Medallion box. Should be as simple as moving them. Pull the cover and you should see the labeled fuses for each pump location. Swap the wires coming off those fuses.

I would though, get test light of volt meter just to confirm that the pumps are just plugged up to the wrong terminals. This would also allow you to inspect the fuse and test the one inop pump.

Have never done anything with the medalion box. Is that located under the dash or in the stern opposite the batteries?

It is located under the helm.

both pumps should have been draining even in the surf ballast config.
Sounds like something I might check as well since for surfing I'd like to put at least 100lbs of water on the port side with only the port side pump. I have the Ushape sack so any more than that and i'd get water flowing over to the other side

I'm glad tige plummed in two fill pumps so that this upgrade would be effortless.

where'd you get the sacs btw? good price? Can you take a pic? I'm curious how far back they go vs. the Ushape 400lb sac.

you need to go into setup on tige touch and tell the computer you have "pro ballast" ... then the pumps will only run on the side you select. when the boat came from the factory with the u-shaped bag, the setup was for that and so both pumps run to fill the ubag. Now it needs to know you have pro or surf ballast. you should check your dealer for the latest software usb upgrade, there have been 2 or 3 since the 2010 came out
