I have the 5.7 in my 05 22v I would like to replace the water pump impeller mine is driven off the crank shaft is they prety much all the same impellers if so does anyone have a part number or k now what one I need? I'm at work and would like to pic one up on the way home as the shop is on my way and a long way to go home then come back....that and I'm lazy lol

I have 04 22v with a Merc 350mag 5.7. If you know your engine serial number I use mercury parts express to find parts. For my engine the impeller pn is: 862232A 2Comment

Dingleberry I wanna say that my engine is a GM the link you posted has a pic of the housing and its Identical to mine so I think I'll gamble and use the one they have in the pick hopefully its the same (fingers crossed lol)Comment

Your engine block is a GM block, but they are then marinized by the engine "manufacturer" such as Marine Power, Mercruiser, or PCM. I think most '05 Tiges had Marine Power (but not certain).Originally posted by Fire_medic View PostComment

Well it just happened that I had a few pics of the engine on my phone and guess what....I was able to see that yes indeed it is a Marine Power lol. I called the dealer with the number from the link that you put up dingle and they dont have the one with the splines in it so Ill have to wait until I get it out. I guess no being Lazy today hahahaComment
