    Chip Guard on new trailer?

On mY old boatmate trailer...I had alot of stone chips....I want to protect my new RZ2 trailer (black) from all the road hazards.

Anyone have any good ideas on what to do

I was thinking the clear chip guard sprayed on the outer parts of the trailer.......

Yes, 3m protective film works perfect and is transparent.

I would like to do this as well on my new Boatmate. For the 3M Protective Film, I guess we can just buy a roll off the internet, cut and stick in place????

My trailer has a few scratches too from trailering across the country, I'm planning on getting it re-painted with Line-X or some similar product to protect it in the future.

          try http://www.rocktamers.com/

works great for me, but I have a home made version. I do tow far on special trips, towed about 3000 miles in one trip last summer.

I've used this stuff on numerous trailers. Looks good and sticks good to.
