Nice wake for boarding. I havent seen the surf wake on them after ballast yet. Post some pics of your wake at 11 mph.
If you've seen any of my surfing pics, then you have seen it. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in shape. Hopefully, my ballast mod will ensure respectable size every time. Those pics should be up in a couple weeks.

I would recommend the FAE regardless of what you do behind your boat. No more fumes. End of story. If you really need the sound of a V8, get yourself a hotrod. Otherwise, do yourself and your crew a huge favor and get one. Once you have one on your boat and then go out on your brother's boat, you'll wonder how you ever got along without one. When he goes out on your boat, he'll want one for his. You'll be amazed at how good you feel at the end of the day when you haven't been huffing exhaust fumes all day.

Pic of old wake on a good day. Rider (not me) is 5'11", 215lbs.

Oh ya they do take water over the nose with this style of boat, especially when tubing. I will miss that on my old I/O which never took water over the nose. One heck of a tubing boat but the Tige is lot better everywhere else and comfort. I'll check into the FAE, thanks for the tips. I'll see if I can get some pics this weekend. Going just for a cruise, my 1.5 year old son has tubes and cant get into the water.

        ???

With some practice, taking water over the bow will be an extremely rare occurrence. You just need to remain vigilant about it. It still happens to me once in a blue moon but for the most part, my carpet remains dry all day. I also have a bow cover that I can put on in case it gets nasty out. Its super nice to have.

NP - Pretty sure he means his son has tubes in his ears which means no water in the ears. Very common for little kids.

yep son has tubes, so this sunday is a cruise only day far as getting any pics of the wake at different speeds. Later on when we board he gets to stay home with grandparents until he has no more tubes

Had a great trip out ot the lake yesterday. Couldnt resist when the water was almost glass, so we did a little boarding. Had a relay go out on the TAPs so it was stuck on Wakeboard. But I was really happy with the wake it threw. Just need a tower now.
