    Not Tige's fault there.

However, my dealer has found additional leaks in the ballast system. In my opinion, there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for this. This should have been thoroughly checked and RE-CHECKED in Abilene prior to anyone signing off on the boat and shipping it to me, the customer.

For those of you that know more about these mechanically than I do, how concerned should I be about this engine issue moving forward? I'm certain the inside of engines and water don't make for a good couple. With this boat having been water tested weeks ago at Tige, then sitting there for several weeks before getting shipped...I would think there would have been some form of water or moisture in the engine...and that can't be good. I'm trying to remain as patient as possible, but I spent alot of money to not have a used boat with problems....not to mention having spent a lot of cash to upgrade to the 409!

What would you do in my shoes?
You get a 3 year warranty on the PCM engine so I wouldn't worry so much about any issues because if your going to have any it will come out well with in the warranty period. New boat gets new warranty therefore all your issues your having can and will be fixed at no cost to you. Keep cool because your dealer will figure it all out for you and you'll be enjoying that "SWEET" looking RZR in no time!! Cheers

      Power Turns are good.

      Here's how you do it.

Very disappointed. You would think that when you're spending that much $$$ that the boat would be tested to insure everything works properly prior to delivery.
Sorry to hear. Not to add insult to injury, but truth is, the dealer should have gone over that boat with a fine tooth comb and given it a thurough sea trial BEFORE, calling you for a delivery. Then, you and the dealer rep go through the same thing one more time.

This allows the dealer to address anything that slipped through QC at the factory. Then at the time you take delivery, the boat, Tige and the dealer meet, or better yet, exceed your expectations.

Good luck...I think it will all get worked out.

            Bummer...

My boat (supposed to pick up Friday) serial number falls within the range of the manifold replacement...emailed them - but would've liked to see a heads up as they've had the boat for 2 weeks now.

How long did it take you to get the part/install?

            Cheers and best of luck!

PCM and my dealer have both been very proactive. Problems were found late on Wednesday...first parts were received on Friday...at that point they were able to diagnose the manifold issue...manifold piece was supposed to get there today...haven't had confirmation that it made it yet.

Good to hear that the dealer is treating you well as they should! Looks like my motor falls in the recall range. Dealer is awaiting confirmation. Looks like I'm not getting my boat this weekend.

i spoke to the service department at the dealership...the manifold was replaced this morning...now all they are waiting for is a new ballast sac that Tige is supposed to be over-nighting.
