New Tige Owner Again - 2012 RZ2 Ordered

Well after my months of hunting I ended up back where I started, which is a new RZ2. I have demoed a number of boats and really struggled with anything but the RZ2. My 2008 has been a great boat, but time to refresh.

Should be completed last week of May and out on the water the first week of June. I will get some build pics up soon.

Color - white main body, black hull, and black deck accent.
Factory Upgrades - surf ballast, carlotta steering wheel
Other Upgrades - Samson swivel racks, wet sounds rev 8 x 4, trailer 10" fenders with my current wheels, Tige cut out/backlit side steps for the trailer, etc.

    Old boat -2008

Congrats on the new boat. Stayton had an all white one that I liked but they wanted too much for it.

They finally dropped the price down around $67K on that boat, but sold it really quick and he happened to have this one that just was put into production. I was able to add a few mods and I am stoked - the all white looks even better in person. I am dropping this on a white trailer as well - should really pop with the black hull.

I was going to go orange and white, but those are Oregon State colors out here and I could not stand to explain no it's Tennessee. Plus I am also a Oregon Duck grad as well - so even more the challenge. Good to see a fellow TN alumn plus a Tige owner - gotta be a great guy!

Great looking boat. The RZ2 is such an amazing platform.

Did you consider the Pro ballast rather than surf? At least one difference is the split bow sacks -- the RZ2 likes that surf-side bow weight!

Not sure what the cost difference is between the surf and pro ballast. The split bow options is nice, but not sure I would pay $1K more for it. I have heard mixed reviews on running front specific weight versus all full front. I am going to check the cost - thanks for the input.

Looking forward to it - you got a new boat to I see. I swear I did not copy thr color scheme - we'll be twins out on the waterways this year. We'll have to connect out the water and check out each others new ride. Just need some weather to help us out!
