    Corrona Service issues

I have had a bad tast put in my mouth with the TIGE' dealer in Bakersfield and I am waiting for TIGE' to tell me where to take my boat for some issues. I purchased it in Utah at Taylor's Boat's and those people are great. Both in service and respect. I am to the point where I am ready to pull back to my Vacation home in Utah to have it fixed. I was hoping that I could take it to Corona as I have heard a lot of good things about them. But I am curious about your opinion for service on the boats there, now that I have read your threads. It seems you are really down on that dealer? Is it because the dealer is so large that a few good business practices get left out? Or do they perform less than expected work. When you pay 55,000 for a boat I feel we have the right to expect top notch service from the dealers and manufactures. Might I mention I have not even put this boat in the water since I bought it.. It is still brand new and the issue I have are some defects in materials not design or workmanship. I just want to get them taken care of before I even float this boat that way there is not issues that I have missused it. Please let me know your feelings on the TIGE' dealer service department in Corona. At this point in time I will take it where TIGE' tells me to take it as it is under their warranty. So I will except where ever they tell me to go. I am not a hard person to please I under stand all the mechanical and stucture aspects and realized the problems that can and will take place. I just want the warranty to be honored and I know TIGE' will do this I just hope sooner than later so I can start to have fun with the boat. Because of problems it sure does not delay the payments owed on the boat and he kids are going to drive me crazy bugging me to go to the lake and use it. Here in CA all we need to do is put on the wet suits and lets have fun.

I do not know if you noticed, but your original posting on the problem in Bakersfield and my response has now disappeared! I looked everywhere for it and cannot find it anymore!

If you reread the post, you will see that only g-man and g-money have had something bad to say about Tige Water Sports in Corona. The rest of use can’t say enough about how much we like the folks over there.

I bought my boat from them in June of 04, and I have had all my warranty work done as well as some custom work done by them.

I would highly recommend them for any work (warranty or other wise)

Are you insane! Take some pictures of the issues, email to Andrew for the record and get that bad boy on the water. I have had my boat almost a year. It has some carpet and vinyl issues we still need to take care of. My dealer knows and it has not disrupted my time on the water. Go break that boat in so it will be ready for the warm weather.

          Enjoy.

My socal friends have their boats serviced at Corona and never had an issue. I prefer Boats of Nevada in Henderson since it is closer to where I keep the boat and their service has been exceptional!!!
          Let it be!!!

This is to set the record straight

Anhaney contacted Tige and requested that his post be deleated and he wanted to keep this board all on a positive note. Andrew has contacted me and we have discussed his issues and all of the issues he had have been resolved. He is very happy and I fell will be a great promoter of the Tige Brand. I did nothing out of the ordinary that I would not due for anyone. If need be please contact anhaney.

Go to general discussion, and then to New 24Ve and go to page 3 and 4 and read discussions by Dan and Zacky.

Reread anhaney's post. He specifically asked about the service department, not sales. Quote "Please let me know your feelings on the TIGE' dealer service department in Corona." We all know from your multiple same posts in different threads of your dislike for the sales and pricing of the Corona store.

Since anhaney is posting in different threads of his issues, I; like Whitlock thought he was referring to the comments in this thread. Either way he did not ask for the opinion of the sale staff as he already owns a TIGE!!

I never said anything in my responses about service. Not once. I am responding to whitlock87 and his statement, please re read it. He did not segregate between service and sales.
The service in Corona may be great, but I have not tried it so I cannot comment on it and I did not in any comment.

                        Corona Boats

Thank you for all your comments on Corona. I have heard nothing but good about them. I have nothing but good to say about Taylor's Boat's In Utah (Sandy) as well. I always perfer to do my own maintenance as I have a AS Degree in Automotive, Diesel, and Marine from Universal Technical Institue. I have a strong mechanical back ground and I teach this stuff to others for a living rather than getting my hands dirty daily. Yes I still get them dirty to keep up on new advances in the three industries. Yes moon light work. But I am glad to hear that Corona lives up to all the great things I have heard about them. If anyone ever needs help with any mechanical questions please email on cars, trucks, or boats just be prepaired if I don't know the answer I will be honest as I am a person I may have a good education in this area but I am far from the best.

                        Regards
