Just an update for everyone. . .

The owner and a friend were able to rescue the boat this weekend. The ice had melted away from the shore and in a circle around the boat. The 2 guys were able to chip a path through and put the boat on a dolly on the beach. No visible damage to the hull, and the motor looks fine other than the freeze plugs. We'll find out for sure come spring, but it looks like Tige was right when they said they build the best hull in the industry. If being frozen in a foot of ice won't kill our boats, not much will!!!
