2005 22v tranny dipstick

Yesterday I was out surfing and just so happen to lift the engine hach to find the dipstick boucing around.Tried to get it to go back in but it will not tightin in place. please help

Is it the Tee handle with the rubber bushing? If so, grip the bushing with one hand while loosening the tee with your other hand. This will cause the bushing to relieve tension and go back into the trans. Be sure to tension it back up when you get it in place.
