Is the entire raised fiberglass carpeted section under passenger/spotter compartment safe to drill into. Also what size screws should be used. The area im talking about is the same area factory mounts the amps. Just want some reassurance before I mount down amps. Your much appreciated

Yes, that area with the glassed-in composite board is exactly where the amps, etc can go. A 1" screw will give you about .75" bit by time you add in the thickness of the amp frame and carpet. Also, bringing the amp off the carpet with some stand-offs allows for added ventilation.
