jrj701 you have done it!! Thanks! Sorry bro but im gonna copy you! Any problems with those changes, and upgrades? I think the speaker by the shifter will give me some much needed mids in the right spot!
Awsome work! I love the help on this site!! Tige owners ROCK![/QUOTE]
I ran into a couple small things I was able to work around but knowing in advance would have saved me a couple headaches. Under the seat base you need to hold the speaker as close to the bottom as possible since you will want to put a baffle behind it. I more centered it and it caused some problems with the baffle hitting the seat bolts. That area is also not completely flat so I used 2 of the rubber speaker gaskets to make sure it was air tight. Depending on what type baffle you use you may need to remove the rubber magnet cover on the speaker or it wont seat in all the way. I didn't sandwich the baffle between the speaker and fiberglass because I used a 5 1/4 hole saw and the baffles need a larger hole. Instead I put it behind the fiberglass and used stainless bolts and nuts to mount everything. As far as the one below the throttle handle, I almost made a big mistake. The throttle assembly bolts in behind there and the baffle hits it causing a tight fit. If I had it to do over, I would hold it as low as you can without getting into the pocket area and move it a hair more forward to the dash. I also had to move the emergency cut off switch. Not real big issues, but if my placement would have been a little further off than it was, I would have been in trouble. As the old saying's go measure twice or three times and cut once, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
