I am new to this forum and Tige but not to boating. I have had great success with Magic Erasers in the past and have not had any ill effects. I guess if you pressed too hard you could cause some damage but I have found that all in all nothing works as good as these do. Have other had a different experience with them?
I think the general consensus is that the Magic Erasers remove all stains because they remove the top layer of the vinyl. Including the protective coating that was placed when it was manufactured. I think with enough time and use, you should see issues. IMHO after reading much on the subject.
    Be excellent to one another.

      Ditto on the Magic Erasers.

We have had good success with elbow grease, Tuff Stuff and Teflon Pads. My Dad had the belows go out on his Sea Ray I/O and he was 80 when it happened and the boat sunk at the dock in 2 ft of water it sat for at least 2 eeks maybe longer before we went to the lake and visited our dad and used his dock. Anyway once we pumped it out and got it home it took 4 of us 4 days, 10 cans of Tuff Stuff to clean up the vinyl. THe carpeting was shot and the ski locker and bilge areas where nightmares but we were able to get her looking good.

Thank goodness the lake is shallow behind his boat with bow pointing towards lake. noo electrical problems except speakers of any significance.
