Rz2 Boat Cover and Custom Biminis- Pics!!!

Guys,

I posted awhile back about looking for a custom bimini top for extra shade on our Rz2. I found a place here in Lubbock, TX that did an absolutly wonderful job. See pics below. I had them build a custom fit boat tarp built for trailering out of Sunbrella material. This cover fits like a glove and wraps around the Alpha Z tower. There is also a velco opening for the gas tank. Also, our family's favorite thing to do is anchor in a cove and swim. So I had them build 2 custom shade tops, one for the back and a "visor" shade for the front. Anyone can still go to the bow of the boat for lots of sun. They built the rear bimini strong enough so that I can still surf and tube while it is up and we are going up to 20 mph. This place, Cobco Custom Canvas has some real craftsmen there. They worked with me from start to finish.

Here in Texas shade is a must if staying on the water all day with kids. I think it looks great. Does the front canopy detach or roll up, or where does it go when not in use?

yes the front bow cover just velcrows to the top of the stock alpha tower. there are 2 lead tie downs that clip to the front bow mooring cleats

How do you wake board withe the big back bimini up?

we cant wake board with it up cuz it covers the tower connection. we're not big wake boarders. love to surf, tube, swim and chill. i guess we could of made the rear bimini lower if we wake boarded alot

Tubing would be tough with that rear shade up too. It would seem that if the tube got out at any angle, you would have the rope hit the supports for the shade.
