    Removing decals

looking to up grade the graphics on my 05 22v limited edition they are very bland and I wanna spice it up. I have an idea of what I want the new ones to look like I'm working with a decal shop in town. My question is has anyone removed their old ones and if so what method worked best

I did it a couple years ago. I had my wife's hair dryer just incase I had any stuborn stickers. I never used it. That could be becuase it was in a warmer 60-70F garage. The vynal sticker just pulled right off with no issues. After I pulled the sticker off I used StartBrite Hull cleaner to get any residue or wax of the glass. Once new stickers were installed I waxed boat.

Remove them in the hot sun and if needed use a heat gun or hair dryer as suggested above. Clean it up well and use a cleaner to remove the old wax before you put the new ones on. Be sure to wax he sides after you finish.

If the graphic has been on along time and leaves a residue that goo gone will not remove, 3M has a rub off wheel that is used on the end of a drill and works amazing.
