Hey, look at all the Ft. Worth guys coming out of the woodwork. Glad to see you guys. Don't forget about Whitney if you are driving to PK. Same clarity, less boats. Granbury is nice, but too crowded for me. We have a place on Bridgeport. Even on July 4, you will only see a few boats except up in the river end. Giving away my secret, but you can always find smooth water, and few boats. Not for socializing, but great for boarding. Grew up at the Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club. Great lake if you know where the shallow spots are. Eagle Mtn and Lewisville are crowded with socializing people. Never been on Benbrook. Good to hear from the fellow Ft. Worth crew, what Tiges are you guys driving? Post up some pics.

I grew up on eagle mountain and that's where I spend most of my time. If u want some good water on the weekend, you will have to get out early. My buddies and I usually hit the lake at sunrise, get some good riding in and head over to hang out at the cove after that. We can usually find some good water again an hr or two before sunset then it's back to the cove.

Pretty much anytime during the week there is just a few boats on the lake and the water is great.

If you see us out there, hit us up.

Thank you. That's an awesome wrap you have. I'll definitely have to come check out your boat if I see you around.

About 8-10 years ago i started going to Tin Top and we use to take the trip to Granbury for beer, and the fun of it, but last year was the first time i have put in at Granbury, and we tried to make it to Tin Top but the path was not maked very well and we ended up in stumpville! Has anybody made that trip in the last few years? Just wondering if its still passable in a wake boat.

The main channel is marked by bouys, but the area I referenced earlier was only 3-5ft deep 15 years ago. Last summer, when Granbury was down 5ft, I rode my motorcycle in one of the developments with a big overlook of that area. All I could see was ground. Not much water at all.

Last year was the first time i have put in on Granbury, and we tried to make the trip to Tin Top, but failed! In years past we used to Put in at Tin Top and run up to Granbury for beer and food, and for the fun of it. My question is.... has anybody made that trip in the last few years? And is it even passable in a wake boat these days? It has been 4-6 years since we made that trip and nothing looked familiar, and we where running backwards from what we used to, and had no luck finding the channel..
