I have the same Ronix Parks Thruster as Wicked. I've only ridden it twice but I really like it. We had a friend out last weekend who surfs a lot and he loved it. He said it was really fast and responsive. We are still playing around with the fin locations.

WTH?! My board is only a month or so old. What did they change? I'm sure it won't matter at my beginner stage of riding.

The one thing I see they didn't change which frustrates me is the warning sticker with 'Made in China' on it that's in the clear.

i'm trying to start getting some air this year (in addition to getting better at surface 360's)...would this board be a good one to accommodate that? also, my fiancee has gotten to be pretty good, so I'm hoping this could work well with either she or I riding (100ish and 160ish, respectively)

Loving my IS Sweet Spot. Fast and easy to catch air. When I want to spin for days I have the IS 4Skim Black Pearl. Then the IS Blue Lake for the beginners.
I need a good kids board. I have a 7 yr old that is itching to surf this year. The SS & BL are too big and the BP is not as stable. Plus my 10 yr old nephew wants to ride.

Also loving my swet spot camo, first 'proper' board we have had, bought a liquid force thruster first, which is great to learn on

using monster fly boy and tweener fins

They incleased the rocker lip and the rail lip and thinned up the board and added a weird shape the the board. yah I wouldnt worry about ur gen 1 it a sick board as well to ride. And stores wont get this board till the others are all sold anyways

                          Very nice posts!

Got to love the shiny new look of a board that has not seen the board rack yet!

                          OK 2nd question,

How Many of you demo'ed the board before purchasing it?

I had the opportunity to demo a board, the CWB Tsunami and I did NOT purchase afterwards because I didn't feel like it was what I was looking for. Rode nice but didn't feel that much different than the CWB Ride. I think if someone were to have a good demo program that it might give riders the opportunity to find their exact fit. Kind of like what Wake9 is doing with CMS. Wish they would do that here in Denver!

I just took a big gamble myself, ordered a Walker Project board today that nobody online has even seen yet and only a few people have ridden. HUGE risk but I feel pretty confident that it's going to ride good.
