I was thinking marine bondo. Just slap it up and sand it to the shape and see what happens

I used a bunch of Bondo Glass in my ballast mod. Pretty good stuff. Waterproof as well.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

What about the spray foam insulation? That stuff sticks pretty good yet you can get it off of there if need be.

Timmy's foam idea is a good one but you could go with some dense foam. Cut and sand to fit. Shape as desired and then glue it to the bottom. It would give you the shape you are after and let you know if it will work. Then you could sand some more and glass over it should it work like you hope. IMO I thought cutting the chines off was somewhat drastic.

Nice... It looks like you must have found room under the dash above the sub woofer? I had a lot of fun mounting my three port with no sub under there. I can only imagine how much you must have enjoyed that.

              Ok all done with mods!

              Installed new prop shaft strut.
Added rubber to the swim platform to keep spray from coming in the crack between the transom and the swim deck, also siliconed the cracks between the teak.
Moved the gas vent so it's no longer under water.
Re-plumbed and installed dual 400 pound sacs in the bow. Hopefully I will get around 300 out of each.
New custom sacs with better fill locations for my crazy ballast system.
Wetsounds 420 installed. New better amp wiring (less ghetto)
              Sea strainer installed.

Now it's time to surf! Hopefully surf thursday or friday after work!! I also bought 200 pounds in lead sacs from lead wake. I plan on putting them in the center in the nose. That way I am not counter weighting the boat in the nose when we surf!

So have you tried out your modded swim platform with the mud flap for the transome and the filled in seams yet? Im really contemplating cutting down my platform and am curious how much your mods have improved the wave? Can't wait to see some pics from you. Are you also going to still run the mud flap for the FAE?

Duffy, I have the same tower as you. Do you not have the original bimini? Did you modify the bimini if you do have the original?

Are you talking because of the surf rack? I am having a local shop ditch two holes in it. Then I just screw it on and off. Should work great. Honestly we don't use the bimini a lot, it's pretty cold up here

do you pull it up or down? Or just leave it up?

We put it up as we are leaving the marina/no wake zone and then put it down when we are wiping it down on the trailer.
