Here is the new custom rack install on my tower. I used some cool thumb screws and tapped my tower so that I can still put my bimini up. I am going to have my upholstery cut a small hole in my bimini.

Yep, his name is Piper. Great guy. The rack is super well made. Should be the best option for protecting high end boards.

I just ordered those from Corson last week, quick delivery, and very well made rack! I'll be mounting them on a Samson Edge tower which will be a little different. But well worth it to keep my Lake Wakes boards off of the floor of the boat! Ill be interested in your ballast set ups, I have a 2004 24V, and will be adding additional 1100 lb sacs to the rear corners.

You should have bought my custom sacs for sale. The 24v loves the weight and the wave is amazing.

I got my 4 port heater installed. Installing a 4 port under the helm was a pain in the as**. So probably everyone would stick to 3 ports. Looks super cool

Sorry I gave up on them. Everyone scared me too much! I am going to think about and plan some still, but it will most likely involve some fill.

I agree about the chines, too sketchy not knowing the effect. Add the potential for structural failure, no way I'd even consider it. How about filling them in wih some silicone to test the wave? Keep the speeds down and I'd bet it will stick for a few passes. The through hull 3m 5200 stuff is really sticky and cures pretty fast , comes in white and black. Worst case scenario, you scrape it off and you are left with some gel coat damage. If it improves the wave, I'd bet you could have a fiberglass guy fill them. A bunch of glass and gel coat work, but no structural mods. I like the idea. Looks like the current z3 has very small if any chines.
