It came out pretty nice though I'm sure at some point I'll build some sort of cover to go underneath and up the sides to make it look more custom and provide a little more support. It's in the perfect spot though, IMO.

We took the 420 apart, drilled holes in the top cover of it and basically through bolted it to the plastic that is underneath the dash pocket. I'll prob need to run a piece of backstrap up to give it a little more support eventually, but it doesn't bounce around at all while underway even though that piece of plastic is a little flimsy.

        Talk about Threadjack

Most of us don't even know what a 420 is. What is it?

Nice input...I think it is pretty safe to say that other than the comment regarding the location of my 420, this thread was dead as of today. I had already answered the fact that there is some adjustment to the throttle and the OP had just ordered his boat.

They do seem to be setting them a little stiff from the factory latley IMPO. But that being said they do free up just fine in only a few trips out. I am sure it will get better with a few trips and it does take some getting use to.

Our 2012 RZR seems more "stiff" compared to my 2008 Z1. Family got use to it over time. I think it will loosen up as we put more hours on it. If there is an adjustment, it would be nice to know if needed down the road. I have noticed that you have to pay more attention when the collar is actually in the nuetral position. My kids thought they were in nuetral when actually still in gear. I hope this all will loosen up over use.

I demoed a 2012 RZR today and the throttle was way to sensitive. It wouldnt move and then it moved a lot. Would like to know if this is adjustable.

It's definitely adjustable. Mine was also very sensitive when we first got it. The cable can be adjusted.
