2001 tige 22i

we recently purchased a 2001 tige 22i at the end of last season and didnt get to use it much and now that we have been researching this metcraft tower were wondering how bad is it really? has anyone ever put the cargo type bimini on one of those towers? where can you get the replacement piece from the 02 that they say fixes? yes i have done the research on the threads and havent found much info so any help and pictures are greatly appreciated

As far as towers go, they suck. I really don't think you want to put a cargo bimini on it. They can barely keep themselves, with a few boards on it, up. As always, the best thing to do is replace it with a Samson. I highly doubt you can get any replacement parts for it.

I have the Sampson edge on my boat. Good design, Collapses in seconds. I don't have a bimini on my boat though so I can't give advise on that.

Have any pictures? That will usually get you more help on this board... Well it has for me atleast...
