Touch ballast fill with custom sac

Haven't been checking the forums lately, so if this has been answered previously please point me in the right direction. When I fill my ballast (front stock and back 1000 lb custom) to surf, unless I have the boat running the entire time, when I fire the boat up the touch shows that I'm empty? This has occurred ever since I had my dealer update the software last season. Is there a fix this season for this or am I doing something wrong?

Check for a new software update or reinstall this update. That doesn't work go in and when the bags are truly empty reset the timers and readjust them. Do you shut the battery's off when you turn the key off by chance?

No, I do not turn the batteries off. I'll try re-installing the software. Surfed for the first time this year in BC, Canada. Water was 47, air was 48. Burrrrrrr...
