Battery Maintenance

Remember to add water to your stock boat batteries this spring. I neglected my battery maintenace and now have to buy two new batteries. Ours are 4 years old now, so I guess that's pretty good considering I never added water. Anywho, Nobody recommends everybody go see "Hunger Games" at the theater this week if the lake water temperature is still too cold (below 78F). Great show and intregueing spin on culture. Great acting! This show will require an extra large bag of popcorn.

I didn't add water but I charged them, went to see hunger games and took the boat out...

I have always kept my batteries (one crank, three deep cycle) on an onboard tender and added water in spring. All four were replaced this winter after three seasons. I would have liked to have gotten more out of them but so be it. At least I will not discover a bad battery during the season
