Lights on the trailer just went out this weekend. Have no idea how or why. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Are there some spots I can check for a quick fix? Fuses? Any thoughts or ideas would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

well if there is a short in the wire it'll be blowing the fuse in the vehicle you are using to tow with i'd check for that first. If the fuse is blown you'll be able to tell where the short is, running lights, back up lights, turn signals etc. Another way to check take a battery and use to jumper wires one positive one negative and work your way down the light plug however don't hold it on one circuit for to long otherwise you'll have other issues.

I had that happen on my 01 Dorsey trailer once. Turned out there was no ground wire run past the folding tongue. As Dingleberry mentioned it was the folding tongue that was the issue. After setting all winter with the tongue folded it was rusted enough to not ground the lights. I had to extend the ground wire past the fold.

Good luck tracking it down.
