    Paint?

I have seen where several have repainted speakers housings. I have a pair of white Wetsounds pro 60s that are pretty faded from the sun. I would like to repaint them Red to match my boat. Does anyone know what type of paint others are using. Something that is durable?

Also is there any types of prep work that would need to be done the speaker housings to get the paint to adhere?

long story short. I had a white pair pro 80's that I took to an auto body shop to have painted. they pretty much just roughed them up, removed speakers and masked the chrome parts, and sprayed them as well as clear coated. Had them for 3 years with no issues before I sold the boat with them on it.

Any auto-body painter can do them. Its the same mix that they would use to spray a painted bumper cover. You could it with single stage or do a 2-step paint then clear coat.
