Favorite Model \ Make \ Year

Ok... so curious. what is everyones fav make year and model of Tige. I have always loved the 2004 22V. I just love how the boat is setup and the lines on it. even though I still own an RZ4.. I would have that boat and about 20 others in a perfect world!

I mean for arguements sake I would say I have a favorite model of each mfg each year...

2009 RZ2. I like it best because I plan to keep for a long time and the total unknown is how long the Tige Touch screen is going to last. It also has the Alpha Z tower and I'm upgrading the ballast right now to the MLA option. I personally don't like having a center cushion in the bow all the time, I like that to be optional. I really like the size and look of the 24ve and Z3 but my RZ2 fits perfectly in my garage and it's easy for my 4runner to tow.

BL, if I could choose to pick any Tige boat it would still be my 2009 RZ2.

Agreed. I love the pickle front of the RZs and Alpha Z tower.

I like that 2009 was the last model year without TigeTouch. I know that system has its fans but I prefer switches. By the 2009 model year, the rear hard tanks had been gone for a few seasons (2007?).

22 feet is the perfect size for us and with a 409 coupled with a 1235 prop, there is plenty of get up and go.

Best wakemaking hull in the history of Tige: 2003-2005 24V. Respectable surf wave also. The tower was also about 7.5 feet off the floor, which was nice, except my shorter friends had to stand on the seat to get the rope to the tow point.
          Be excellent to one another.

I'm with 9combe74, I like the lines and the setup of the 04 22V. Plus I own one. Although I like the graphics of the 06 better.

As a second choice I also like the lines of the 22V.

My '06 22v, seems like my tastes have not jived with tige's ever since then. Only downside is I wish I would have put cruise and ballast on the boat straight from the factory. The tower isn't as "solid" as the new models but i'll take a taller tower every time.

My fav is the boat I currently own. A 2007 24ve. Like ewok I plan on keeping it for quite some time. I am not familiar with the other modles however I do like the picklefork design. I like the looks of the alpha towers but I love the height my tower offers. Now I really like the Mastercraft x45 however it is a big boat, does not have a great wave or wake but has a ton of room in it. But I will stay with my ige.

My current boat, the 06 24V. Although its my first, I looked at a lot of boats and kept coming back to this model. Big interior, nice wake even without ballast, good price, etc.

This is a tough one because there are several different years and models that I like, like the 1992 comp 2000, which I skied behind and it could rival some of the latest, but for my all time favorite, it would have to be my 2004 6.0l switch I .
Im up to 1300hrs, and it is just plane out fun to drive and Im currently giveing it a minor make over.

While I do love my '07 RZ2, I would go with the brand new 2012 Z3. I really love the lines that Tige has sculpted into the hull, how deep it sits, the interior, integrated trash can and bow cooler and the big factory ballast system.

For my needs and preferemces since I tow so much the 20V circa 2010 with PCM is my favorite. We don't own lakefront property so we trail a lot and with normally a boat load of 4 adults and two small children with the 4 of us and 2 labs and 2 hotdogs the 20V meets my apace requirements. and I just plain enjoy how the 20 footer handles.

If storing a larger boat is not an isse in the future I would go with a 22VE. I am not a picklefork fan and I prefer Vdrives and the extra seating and storage inherent to vdrives.
