    12' Review

Well I received my 12' at the end of last year however never got to get a full set behind it more or less played with weighting and kind of got a general idea for a starting point for spring since I was busy with college and working didn't get to truly run the boat through it's paces.

The boat ran flawless and was the most impressive Tige Rz2 I've ran! Tige is constantly raising the bar with these boats day in and day out! I got a chance to head down and tour the factory back in the beginning of the month and meet with Jean and Tony which was great I had previously met Tony in Minneapolis and we'd worked a few times ordering boats and especially with my 11' and the problems I had encountered.

So the ice went out a week ago in Northwest Iowa and things clicked and I got it picked up from the dealer after getting it summarized and the weather was beautiful Air was 80 and water was 47 I believe. We took my boat out and loaded it out with Factory Pro ballast + some and people we did the math we were roughly right at or under 4,000lbs of weight! Ran 23.8 speed taps at 3 once up 70 foot rope. I was deeply impressed with how this boat performed weighted with the stock prop I might put my Acme 1235 on it but doubtful not sure it's needed.

    Here are a few pictures

And one of the butter we were welcomed to had it all day

One of the boat last year in the late fall at our dock

Also got a chance to get out behind the new Z3 let me say sick boat!

Post any questions of course about the set up or the boat in general.

What motor are you running with all that weight?

Nice looking wake and cool air's. What did you think of the Z3's wake for boarding?

PCM 6.0L 409hp factory prop (Acme 381) might toss my 1235 on it in the future undecided we'll see how this set up reacts to more weight in the future.

I was really impressed! I only rode with no ballast as the one at the Marina I work at got sold so never got a chance to run it through it's paces! However I know the family that bought it so I plan on going out one of these weekends and sacking it out to 2-3,000lbs and seeing how it runs. I spoke to a buddy of mine Billy Garcia (Rides for Tige) who had just received his and he said this boat likes an extra sac up front for wakeboarding but haven't gotten a chance to try this set up yet will report back when I get it accomplished!

I think all of us are waiting for reports back on how the boat performs as well as how the wake is for boarding. Some of us love to surf but there are those who want to get out on a rope and catch some air.

I'll see if I can't get a review put together by this weekend and or the following week.. depending how my college situation plays out and work I'll do what I can though!

Oh, you mean '12 review, not 12 foot (12') review. I was confused there for a minute.

What college did you say you were attending?

put the 1235 on regardless... you will notice a huge difference. even if you dont add anymore weight.. changed my stock to it and alot less slipping from the hole shot and in tight turns.

Yeah I ran the 1235 on the 2010 and 2011 for a while and was a noticeable difference just want to play around a little more and find out what can be done with this stock prop and then let Tony at the factory know before I make the jump back to the 1235 I probably won't even both with the surf wake as we maybe go a few times a year and Ragboy has that covered for sure his set ups are unstoppable I hope to maybe add a little more weight to this factory 381 prop and really push the limits as far as wake and boat performance (I.E. planning out, turning, hole shot)

our boat "slips" a bit out of the hole as well when running heavy, with the factory 1491? i dont remember, aside from that the low end power/holeshot are so fast and top end you get are too good to concern with changing the prop.

that may be an interesting prop to try.
