25 degrees tonight...NOT winterized yet!

It's getting down to 25 degrees in South Carolina tonight and I haven't winterized the 21V yet. It will only be that cold overnight, and lower 50's during the day. I can't get it done until next week. I have wrapped the engine with an electric blanket for night only.
I can't get it in to my dealer until Monday!

Will I be OK, or do I need to get more heat in the engine compartment?

The blanket should be fine.

Last year the same thing happened to me and I just used a 60 watt light bulb and a drop cord and it was fine.

About 1 hour north of there.

You will be fine , you need at least 2 to 3 nights of below freezing weather to start to have to worry.

It got down into the low 20's for 3 nights and the bulb worked fine. I would only use a bulb if you no other alternative though, because it could start a fire if it comes into contact with a rubber hose or something.

I agree with bfrank that it would probably take 2-3 nights below freezing to do any damage but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the piece of mind guys. First year with a wake boat, so all advice helps. Dropped it off Monday at Gunnell's in Greenwood, SC. Winterizing, oil change, V drive and Tranny service, and replacing a presure switch, impeller and a few other issues with the boat.

I was going to get a full tune up as well, but the guy says as long as it is running fine, it probably doesn't need it....it was tuned last Fall by the way. How often should I plan to tune up? Should I go by seasons or hours??

Have it checked every 100 hours, I know of some with 250 hours and the same plugs and some that needed changing at 150 hours.
