Well, thanks for stealing my thunder. I guess I'll go stick my head in the sand now.

Not to steal your thunder twice....but MC does them too. They were an option in 2011.
        Be excellent to one another.

To be honest, its the first time we've had more that one or two boats at the boat show in the last few years. There was 2 MBs, 1 'Tweek, 1 Sanger, and 4 'Bus. No Tiges even though we have a Tige dealer. The problem is, no new Tiges for them. When the economy went bad, our here went really bad. A local economy based on construction and tourism does not fair well in a recession. So, its been a while since I've seen actuall new boats from more than one dealer. I was happy to see the few boats that were there. Things are looking up, just a little slower than most of the country.

I'm gonna go buy some Alaskan Amber and dump it down the gutter.

I know what you mean about not seeing the new models. Two years ago, Skiers Choice was the only Tow boat at the show. This year we had all but tige ans Sanger for the 1st time in like 10 years and a couple MBs came up from FL.

On a bad note, we had a dealer that did not come to the show for the first time ever.....this year was the 40th Anv. They are a long time family owned dealer. They are down to just a pontoon line know I think. They are just across the street from me. I dont see them making another year. Especially since it seemed that 3/4 of the dealers at the show have a pontoon. So just a little competition for them

On a more direct note...I don't particularly see surfers raving about them as a 'must have' sort of item. Although I think they sound like an awesome item, I am not sure that they are worth as much as they might cost.

its seems that they didnt have quite the degree of effect as thought.

While a trim tab might contribute to port/starboard list, it would do so at the expense of total displacement. It might be nice for a HEAVILY weighted boat to conveniently tweak angle, but the same could probably be accomplished by adjusting fill on the off side sack.
