Thank you. The system has gotten a little rideculous at this point. Here's what I have:

    Sub
JL MHD750/1 for 12W6V2 (for now)

    Tower
    JL MHD750/1 for 2 Left Rev10's
    JL MHD750/1 for 2 Right Rev10's

    In Boat
    JL MHD750/1 for 3 Left M770CCS
    JL MHD750/1 for 3 Right M770CCS

    Bow & Driver's Helm
JL MHD600/4 for M770CCX in Bow and M770CCS at Captain's helm

As far as batteries, I'm just doing 2) 12V Continental (made by Trojan) Golf Cart batteries in the stock cranking battery location (moved the cranking battery to the starboard side). These batteries were by far the best bang for the buck I could find. They will be 310Ahr, wired in parallel and were $140ea.

They are quite big but I could squeeze a couple more in either under the port side seats or the observer's helm if I find I need more.

Mike (Chpthril) designed and sold me all the battery system components. I have a 40A Xantrex TrueCharge 2 that will charge and maintain the batteries, usually after each weekend of use.

I took a couple more pics this weekend. I still have not finalized the sub so no making fun of the prefab hatchback box under the driver's helm.

Here's where we installed the WS420. It needs some sort of trim to make it integrate a little better. It's a great and convenient location though.

4th pair of JL 7.7" components in the main cabin.

I still plan on building a cover for the amps at some point to cover the wiring.

      Registration stickers

I also put up some new board racks in the garage. They worked out really well. I need to order another set.

Nice install man! Put a 12W7 in there and be done already! My buddy's Epic has the 12W7 in a 1.75 cu ft ported box and it pounds!

Now, I do not think a side-loaded does much more vibrating then a direct-radiating sub under the helm does. But, there is a YT video on WW that shows the side of a boat majorly flexing due to a side loaded sub that is absolutely hammering. The hull movement was actually kinda scary

          That can't be good.

I just realized that you are using JL MHD750/1 to power the 770's. How did you wire that up? It's a mono amp, right? How much power is each speaker getting?

That's 2) MHD750/1's to power the 4pr of 770's. That's a little less than 200W per speaker RMS. One is powering the 4 left in boat speakers and the other is powering the right in boat speakers. I ended up not doing a MHD600/4 for the bow speakers and captain's helm. I did a M200/2 for the bow speakers (no captain's helm speakers) and installed a RLC (remote level control) for it in the pocket under the Tige Touch. That way I can turn them down or off if my kids are in the bow.

200w rms!?!?! Wow! That's double what the spec says they can handle. I bet they are freakin loud! My buddy runs 150w into each one and they rock.

I'd be a bit concerned about phasing issues with all the mid-cabin speakers firing at each other. You might want to experiment with reversing the phase on one side or they're essentially cancelling each other out...

Other than that, very, very sweet. Bet you can hear that thing coming down the lake...

Yeah, I've considered it but there are only 2 that actually fire at each other. The rest are staggered. With them being so far below ear level though, I'm not sure it matters. Maybe I'll try it one day once everything else is done, if that ever happens!

Timmy, I'm a big fan of power. The speaker ratings don't mean near as much to me as how the speakers sound. IMO, you can blow a speaker much easier with too little power than with too much power. I've never blown a speaker in my life and I've owned many, many speakers. I have a feeling that record may not last past this summer after several outings with good friends and good beer!

Need more sound in the bow, what's your opinion of the JL Audio M400/4 wired 200 watts RMS x 2 in bridged mode @ 2 ohm (parallel) using the JL 7.7's??
Having a separate amp gives us the ability to turn it up or down with the optional remote????
