06 22ve steering cable length?

Looking at the ole DIY trick of installing a new steering cable. Couldn't find any info on the previous cable without pulling it out. Hoping someone can share the steering cable length for a 06 22ve.

If it is the same as the '07 is is 18 foot, if you go the original route. Part number SSC15418

Well, mines coming out this weekend for replacement. the previous replacement required on complete excess loop under the helm. I'm going to try and avoid that this time and custom order one.

I have an RZ4, so I'll assume it's the same as the 24ve??

Water is still too cold to jump in.
