Valuable advice by all of you, a mechanic is on the agenda for sure. Anything else I should make sure to check that might get missed?

Northern colorado, Westminster area to be exact. Probably will end up going to Boyd the most, fairly close to us.

Get it checked by a mechanic. The hour meter on this year and 2004-2005 have a tendace to reset to 0 hours. A mechanic can tell you how many hours are on the boat. Is the engine a rebuilt?

Found this yeasterday Craigslist; This boat is being sold @ Daschitt Powersports 161 US Hwy 60 W Republic MO 65738, This boat has mid 280's for hours and comes with full factory cover, Bimini top, AM/FM/CD with remotes, ski bar, Wake Tower, and much more. This Tige 24 V Wake Board Boat looks great and shows very nice. This 24 V is powered by a Chevy 6.0L V8 Rated @ 380 hp. This 24V does come with a nice matching Tandem trailer as seen in the pictures also. I will look at trades plus cash on late model sport cars, Bikes, or Full size late model Utility vehicles. We have options on financing and shipping so please call Chris @ 417-732-1500 or email me me for more detailed pictures or info and thanks for looking and have a great day!

I bought a 2004 22v in Dec 2010 for $24,000, and I had to put around $6,000 to get it to good condition. New upholstery was $3,000, new wheels/tires for trailer was $1,000, full tune up with new alternator was $1,500, speakers were $500, probably some other things I forgot about as well. So that totals $30,000.

          I love the boat.

Itsis well worth the money to have a mechanic check it out. A qualified mechanic can get the hours out of the computer. Test compresion, and look for other notable issues. If it does not work out and is a dog in disguise then you would have saved 30k and a lot of headackes. It is a far drive to go look but I would really get a test drive before you commit. Well worth the cost of a plane ride out if you feel this boat is for you.

No, it just is a nickname that I got a long time ago for mostly online, doesn't really have anything to do with my name

Yeah, I figure if the owner doesn't have anything to hide, they should be more than willing to let a mechanic take a look at it. But thanks for all the good advice everyone It is beyond helpful.

Samack make sure you do your home work look at every website selling boats it took me awhile to find mine but I got it. I ended up with an 05 22v with 200hours I got it out of seattle in december I only paid 22000$ I made sure he would let me test drive it and it ran great the only thing mine doesnt have is ballast but ill be adding that this year my self. One other thing that some dealers told me was to be careful buying from areas that are struggling with the recession right now they have seen some real doozies come out of theose areas. (Sorry if anyone is in the affected areas. Just what I learnt) happy shopping and make sure its what you want or close to as I have found out on this site adding extras and dolling up the boat to how you want it isnt as hard as one thinks

I agree with fire_medic. My tige is a 2007 RZ2. Last summer I paid 38.5k. Loaded with 112hrs in great condition. I had to ship it 1500 miles.
