Wrangler - I saw in the gallery you are having second thoughts on the graphics you picked. IMO the West Coast graphics in red from 2005 would set your boat off. You have one sweet ride no matter what you do.

      Funny you should mention that...

Funny you should mention that... Tige happens to have a set of those graphics in red from 05 and that's the way I was leaning.. I think it will look pretty sweet with those graphics... Thanks again...wrangler

        Hey Wrangler-

I got a chance to check out the boats at Tige with the stereo systems you mentioned. (Saw yours as well, very nice!) They have done a very good job, very clean and the sound is sweet. I saw the battery setup as well, again very nice and I like the fact you can plug it to recharge. I did not ask them, but how long will that setup go before the batteries die and need a recharge? Seeing as how they are not hooked up to the alternator and I can be out on the lake into the evenings this is a concern for me. I forget, but did you and Justin have three batteries dedicated to the stereo and one for starting? Does the plug-in also charge the battery for starting the boat?

        THANKS!

Dan...On Justin's boat, he has three batteries dedicated to the stereo and they are completely not hooked up to the alternator at all. The charger is the only source of power for those batteries. One battery is dedicated to the boat for a total of four! I don't know what the time of usage expected from his system is...but the batteries that they used are beefy monstors from military applications. I would guess that you could get quite a few hours out of the three monsters driving the stereo before charging...

On my boat, I went with three batteries, one for the boat and two for the stereo. The difference being that I can charge all three from the alternator...although that would make it work pretty hard. The charger will charge all three as well as I understand it. I pick mine up on Friday. I just got to see the stereo all finished up yesterday and it sounds pretty cool! Glad you like the set up... It does look clean... Merry Christmas....
