    Moving to Washington State

I've just received a great job offer in Vancouver so it looks like we'll be moving to Washington.
Anyone know if there is a good Tige dealer anywhere near there?
Also, any recommendations for good lakes that are wakeboard friendly?

    Thanks,

    Tip,

The closest dealer is in Stayton Oregon. It's called Stayton Motorsports. The owner/person there is Joel. I think he is one of the best, he seems to really know boats. You can call him or his store and they'll walk you thru just about any problem or question. One of the reasons I bought a Tige' was because of his commitment to me the customer, one of his goals is to do everything he can to eliminate down time for his customers. He knows we have a relatively short boating season so he knows how important it is to get you going if needed.
Stayton is about 15 minutes east of Salem which is about an hour from Vancouver.
There is quite a few good places to boat within an hour of Vancouver; Lake Merwin, Yale Reservoir about 30 minutes, the Columbia & Willamette River 10 minutes, Hagg Lake 1 hour. Detroit Lake is about 2 hours from you, that is where Stayton Motorsports has their annual customer appreciation weekend. It's a Tige'/Crownline reunion.
Let me know if you want more info,, Good place to live: 1 1/2 hour to the coast, 15 minutes to large city (Portland), 1 1/2 hours to Mt Hood (great snow skiing) & 3 hours to the high desert (good lakes and hot weather).

        Tip,
Welcome to Vancouver! We are in Battle Ground, 15 min north. Great water all around here , the east side of the hills gets warm in the summer so you can run over to the Snake River in about 4 hrs to thaw out. Swift, Yale and Merwin resevoirs are good spots within 45 min from Vancouver. free launch durning the week. The Willamette River where it crosses I5 in Wilsonville is our favorite. You can always find smooth water around there. Today its air 54 degrees, water 48. Duck hunting was ok today.
Joel at Stayton Motor Sports is the man! #1 in customer satifsation and #2 in volumne... reason... he knows his stuff and cares about the customer and family. You won't be disappointed. Look us up when you get here, we'll get you dialed into the area!

Thanks for the info. My wife and I are pretty excited about the move. unfortunately I will not be able to bring my boat out until August of next year (logistics!).

I lived in Tacoma for a few years as a kid a loved it, I'm not concerned about the weather.

            Thanks again.
