Looking to update decals on older Tige

Got a 1998 Pre-2200 and I'm looking to update the decals. At the least, I want to remove the wave decal on each side. I don't want to do a full wrap since the hull is in great shape and I'd prefer to keep it clean looking. I was thinking about getting a set of silver "tige" letters used on the new boats.

But I wanted to see if anyone else had ideas, and even better, if anyone who has done this could post up a pic.

    here is mine

Chrome Tige letters wold look great on there, and probably be cheaper than a wrap to boot.

The pros would remove the rear wave decal with a heat gun. A good hair dryer will probably do the trick. I've debated removing the wave on my boat, but am afraid of the coloration difference once the wave is off.

You are definitely going to need to polish the area were the decals were. Even if the hull is in great shape, it will be in even better shape underneath the stickers. The good news is, its a boat and it can be done. Do you have a buffer?

I hit the hull last season with 3M restorer and wax and that seemed to give it a good shine and remove any oxidation, so I'm not too worried about the color looking different.

Any ideas where to get the silver Tige lettering?

I have a full set of the chrome tige lettering. In total 3. 2/side and 1/rear. These are brand new never put on yet. Can send you pics of interested. They would look great on your boat.
