We've all towed tubes at some point, even me. We own one, I just never bring it along. They have their time and place. Just so long as you don't let the kids do it exclusively, we won't have a problem with it.

Wives usually end up being great boat drivers. Anything to keep the husband from complaining.

The round tubing is really versatile. I have a tower mounted barefoot boom on mine just the one pictured. You can also clamp other racks on the tower like the bullet lines or samson options.

I totally agree about the round towers. You can get accessories for them from almost anyone. Things like the Alpha Z tower look sexy but I'm not sure the looks are worth the opportunity costs.
