wow... and to think we put the boat in the week the ice goes out and start riding right away the record for us is
38 degree water and 55-60 degree air.
I'm planning on putting in as soon as I finish with my upgrades. Shooting for right after the ski hill closes around April 8th. Water should be a balmy +or- 40 degrees with air temps hopefully in the 50-60 degree range.
Why do you insist on telling us what a pansy you are? If I couldn't ride in temps like that, I'd wear a god damn dress.
Wear a dress hell, my wife would jump at a chance to ride at those temps!

This has nothing to do with Dave. He apparently thinks you are D-bag. I, on the other hand, feel the term D-bag generally refers to a someone with testicles.
Cold shock
Hypothermia
Cramp
Heart attack
Asthma
Cold water urticaria
You forgot "shrinkage".
I for one appreciate the humorous tongue-in-cheek comments of Nobody in this thread.
As a kid, we moved from Maryland to central Florida in October and swam often in the ocean for the next month or so. The next season, there was no way we were going in that cold water. It is a matter of frame of reference. If you get enough riding in when the water is 78+, then why expose yourself to discomfort.
That said, I do not get enough riding in when the water is 78+ (as many of us do not), so need to expand into colder water.

I've been nice and keep my comments to myself lately... Unless you are my ex-wife!!!
Yes, you have been exceptional and we really truly miss the old Dave, but we also like the new Dave. Sorry to hear about the divorce, had two in my life and there no fun. Good to hear from you, and yes....Nobody misses you.

You forgot "shrinkage". Big pansy turns into little pansy

Once you move to Florida you learn to toughen up and swim with the gators (all sizes). Lets see you Pansy AZZ Yankee boys come down here and swim 30' away from the marsh and grass beds.
