    Securing Batteries To Floor, Location?

Can I secure my battery boxes with screws to the floor here?

I just want to make sure I'm not drilling into the floor in a bad spot.

    Thanks

You might want to save that area for ballast. The observer's compartment is the best spot for batts. If you do put them where you have marked, the floor should be fine.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

In the ski locker that's a long way to run 2/0 gauge

Why not just put them in the factory locations? That area is probably best since it is so remote, you'll likely never use it for anything else.

I can't imagine that the extra 6-10' of 2ga power wire will effect your amps performance at all. You could always do 1/0 if you were worried about it.

          2/0 is bigger than 1/0 it's double 0 gauge.

My factory battery location I don't think will fit 2 group 31s in parallel

If you plan to surf at all I would not put them there as was mentioned. I would spend the extra money and run them to under the observers seat. If you put them there and then change because you want to add ballast it will cost you more in the long run.

Doesn't my extra ballast bag go under the sunbed next to the engine?

I wanted to put it under the seat
